The Bravo! Vail Music Festival’s 2019 season is a star-studded celebration of innovations, premieres, and world-class artistry. The Festival opens on June 20 and includes more than 80 concerts and community engagement events in venues throughout the Vail Valley.

Vail Bravo! Highlights

June 20 and 22
All-Mozart programs with violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter in her Vail debut, performing all five of Mozart’s Violin Concertos.

July 11 and 13
Bravo! Vail’s first staged opera production: Two performances of Puccini’s Tosca with The Philadelphia Orchestra, Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and an all-star international cast in an immersive custom designed production.

June 26
Bravo! Vail and the National Repertory Orchestra present Meet the Orchestra! Bring the whole family for fun, including an instrument petting zoo, followed by an engaging performance. 

June 30 – Jurassic Park
Featuring visually stunning imagery and groundbreaking special effects, the action-packed adventure of Jurassic Park pits man against prehistoric predators in the ultimate battle for survival. Experience it now, projected in HD with the Dallas Symphony performing John Williams’ iconic score live to picture.

July 4
Celebrate this most American of holidays with the most American music conducted by Jeff Tyzik. 

August 1
Perpetulum, Philip Glass’s first-ever composition for percussion ensemble, is “joyous…rich…immensely appealing to hear” (Chicago Tribune). Scored for amplified pianos and a vast array of percussion, Music for a Summer Evening is a sonic spectacular: alluring, unorthodox, and transcendent.
