MARK PENDERGRAFT

Mark is what you’d call a 'Jack of many trades.'  Mark joined Moving Mountains as an Operations Specialist and soon evolved into one of our Maintenance Team members.  

While having a knack for fixing things, Mark also has an eye for photography and ran his own Humpback Whale photography company in Hawaii until Covid hit and brought him to Steamboat.  He is enjoying the different kind of beauty the mountains has to offer in comparison to his life in Hawaii where not only was he a photographer, but also a passionate marine educator.  In addition, he has had other jobs ranging from a Sound Editor in the motion picture film industry to a Scuba Instructor in Thailand, Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii.  

Mark's personal interests include surfing, fly fishing, making art, stand up paddling or playing his ukulele.  

Mark has found enjoyment working for Moving Mountains where every day is different.  He loves the satisfaction that comes from making sure every guest has a unforgettable stay in Steamboat and gets the full Moving Mountains experience.
