Wellness
LISTEN CAREFULLY
Sound Bath
A sound bath is a meditative and therapeutic practice that involves immersing oneself in soothing sounds and vibrations. It typically takes place in a calm and comfortable environment where various instruments are played, such as Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, or other harmonic instruments. Each instrument is chosen for its unique resonance and ability to promote deep relaxation and meditation.
As you settle comfortably into a reclining position on a plush mat in the privacy and comfort of your Apex home, blankets are gently placed over you, ensuring warmth and comfort throughout the session. The sound therapist then begins to play the instruments with precise and intentional movements, creating a symphony of soothing and harmonious sounds. The sounds and vibrations produced by these instruments induce you into a state of deep relaxation, similar to a meditative or trance-like state.
After the sound bath concludes, you're encouraged to take your time to slowly reacclimatize to your surroundings. You can enjoy a moment of quiet reflection or indulge in a steaming cup of herbal tea specially prepared to complement the experience.
